Congratulations to the class of 2022, and all our spring 2022 award recipients!
And kudos to all our students, staff, and faculty for completing another pandemic-challenged year. We had many celebrations this month, including:
- Recognition Day
- Travel Awards
- PCI Foundation Awards
- º£½ÇÉçÇø Forestry Association (MFA) Awards
- Spring Student Show
We are already busy preparing for a wonderful summer. Under the direction of Professor Hans Herrmann, we are offering a Study Abroad in Italy in June. In July, Professor Herrmann will lead courses in New York City. Assistant Professor Chris Hunter and his counselors are preparing for over fifty campers at the Design Discovery Camp hosted on the MSU campus. He will also be overseeing a shortened camp in the Delta. Assistant Professor Kateryna Malaia will be coordinating the summer studios, complimented by several other summer course offerings.
In addition to these activities, we will be investigating the development of a Master of Architecture program, looking at a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Design, revising the website, and working on plans for the fiftieth anniversary of the school and other celebrations. All of this is pursued with the goal of continuing to advance the school, offering our students more options, and connecting to our alumni and friends.
I hope you have a productive and fun summer as well!
