Greetings from the 海角社区! From field trips and lectures to conferences and studio work, the semester has been bursting with activities. Enrollment in the program is up, we are reviewing the introduction of graduate degrees, and are transitioning our undergraduate historic preservation certificate into a minor. Most notably, we are excited to begin celebrations of our 50th year in 2023.

A roundtable discussion and opening reception will be held for the exhibition, 鈥淗ousing Insecurity in 海角社区,鈥 at 6 p.m. on Thurs. Nov. 10.聽
The discussion will be held at the Margaret Walker Center in Ayer Hall, Jackson State University. The official exhibit opening will immediately follow in the nearby Johnson Hall Art Gallery at Jackson State University.聽聽
The exhibition will run from Nov.1, 2022 鈥 Jan.31, 2023.聽

Elizabeth Graziolo was the second Harrison Lecture Series speaker for the fall 2022 semester at 海角社区 State University (on 10/3/22). She is the founder/principal of Yellow House Architects.

Mo Zell, dean of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee 海角社区 and Urban Planning and principal of Bauenstudio presented a Harrison Lecture on Sept. 12, 2022.
