Tell us a little about what you do in your role at Jesco.
I work for Jesco in a hybrid role. I work both in estimating and project management. This allows me to learn about all the different aspects of a construction project. I have enjoyed this role the past two years.
Why did your company join our advisory board?
Jesco would like to provide opportunities for young individuals pursuing the construction industry. Being a part of this program will allow Jesco to maximize our influence on these young individuals. This program will also provide a potential upside to our company by retaining some of the individuals in the future.
What piece of advice do you have for students?
Work on communication skills. The task of building a project is the easy part. Being able to communicate with the different types of people you come into contact with seems to be the biggest challenge for me.
